A modern nursery rhyme. With apologies to: went to market, stayed home, had roast beef, etc.

This little (shiny, happy) mamapiggie went to the office for a meeting:

This little nanapiggie stayed home to take care of little piggie:

This little piggie refused to take a bottle and screamed bloody murder for four hours until mamapiggie rushed home in a cab:

Seriously. The kid has decided she is not taking a bottle. We have four different kinds. Nary a one will do.

And now mamapiggie is crying wee wee wee should have done more bottle feeding along the way and now we're fucked when daycare starts.

  1. Welcome to the wonderful world of girls....Jordan's long pants issues will pale in comparison. Sending you hugs and lots of patience!

  2. for someone with a newborn AND a toddler at home you look positively beautiful and not nearly as bedraggled as one should

  3. She looks like butter wouldn't melt in her mouth. Who knew someone that looks so angelic could be such a tyrant?

  4. She's not such a little piggie anymore. My God, she looks so grown up. How is it possible?! Didn't you just have her?

  5. As usual, beautiful pics; and this might sound silly, but I'd love to see a pic of the whole top you're wearing while getting a kiss from Nick. I love the colour and the straps, so I'm intrigued with that little bit.

Nana piggie's top is a beautiful saturated coral, is what it looks like on my computer...you came by your love of colour honestly!

  6. I'm having the exact opposite issue. Since Quinn was so early he didn't have a root or sucking reflex, so I had to pump and bottle feed. He's only 12 days today, but he much prefers the bottle because it's so much easier for him. I'm hoping that changes, because breastfeeding for 5-10 minutes, then bottle feeding, then pumping is exhausting!

    This bottle saved my life.

  8. Breastflow bottles/nipples by The First Years were the only thing Sebastian would take. He'd go 10 hours and only take 2 oz when I first started back at work, but finally took that bottle. Good luck. Worst case scenario, she'll reverse cycle, and nurse nonstop at night.
