When you are sorrowful look again in your heart, and you shall see that in truth you are weeping for that which has been your delight. ~Kahlil Gibran
It's so curious: one can resist tears and 'behave' very well in the hardest hours of grief. But then someone makes you a friendly sign behind a window, or one notices that a flower that was in bud only yesterday has suddenly blossomed, or a letter slips from a drawer... and everything collapses. ~Colette
I hold your grief in my thoughts today Lisa. For all of you and all you have lost. Love, Lynn in ND
That was a beautiful slide presentation in honor of your dad....What a beautiful man and family. While no family is perfect, the slide show displayed the and beauty of youe family as well as the heartache of loss in the most poignant, sweet, joyful and touching way. Thank you for letting us share in that joy and in your grief. Very beautiful. Love, Kate
Such a full life. So glad your father didn't shy away from having pictures taken like so many do -- it's so important to have these images. Really lovely.
the slideshow is absolutely amazing! such beautiful photos that i'm sure trigger some amazing memories! the photo of you guys from your wedding is gorgeous, your parents look blissed out, you can see how happy and proud they are... it beams from them.
Beautiful - thank you for sharing. As I looked through the photos, I kept finding a new favourite shot. The antlers one, nope - the boat one, nope - and so on.
Per usual I am a few days late but I so enjoyed the slideshow. It's hard to reconcile how a life that clearly was full of such joy could also hold such sadness. Who are we but human though? Your dad had a true smile and rocked the striped pants. Endless hugs and peace and prayers good energy to you and your mom and your boys.
