Don't worry, neighbors. Mine is imaginary, and Nick isn't playing.

So, before the watermageddon that befell us just over a week ago, we got this lovely new addition to our home.

Plantation shutters.

If you've known me a while, you know that this makes me giggle and mutter things like, "Hellooo! Penis penis penis!" under my breath.

And if you haven't known me a while, well, now you know.

So, hey. It's Monday, and there's something wrong with me. But I'm pretty sure they'll become just plain normal soon.

Me, on the other hand? Ha.

    I've been wanting to get plantation shutters. Do you recommend the brand you got? Please advise.

      They're lovely. Let me ask Nick who it was - he found the company and organized, as he had stronger feelings on what kind. I was here for the installation, and they were great. But I don't remember the name.

    When I walk or drive through neighbourhoods and look for my "one day dream home" I am always drawn to those with shutters. LOVE! Your wall colour is absolutely gorgeous too!

      I didn't know about these until a few years ago and I just love them. I love how they look, but even more, I love how easy it is to adjust the amount and direction of light that comes in. And I am particularly fond of that wall color - thank you!
