Miss India Lillian

Yesterday, at 3:39 pm, little miss India Lillian joined us on the outside world.  She weighs 7 lbs 2 oz, and is 20.5 inches long.

Except for a slightly smooshed head and red little face (because the VBAC, I did it! and yes I do feel like a rock star, albeit a non-partying one who currently has to squarch her vagina 54 times a day), as far as we can tell, she is pretty much perfect.

    She looks SO very beautiful. I've always loved the name India, secretly wished it was my name actually.
    And you rock, Lisa, yay you! I'm so very happy for you all. I expect you'l be going home shortly, so I hope your weather in DC is as lovely as it is here because I want your weekend to be PERFECT in every way.

    If I were ever to have children, India was the name I would have used for my little girl. I chose to let braver women handle child rearing. I'm happy that you got to use 'my' name. Even happier that you're all doing well.

    OMG!! She's beautiful, her name is beautiful and her mom IS a rock star! I was worried Lisa. I really was scared that your VBAC might not happen for you and I am so so glad it did. Not that I care how a baby gets here but because you wanted that experience and you went through so much for it. Congratulations on that and on the arrival of your sweet baby girl. And that name coming from you, perfect. I hope Jordan is excited now that she is here. OK I'm headed back to The Chapel now ;-)
