Jordan is aleep, Nick is getting a sandwich, and I am taking advantage of his laptop and air card. (No wifi in maternity! Gasp!)
The blogging, not so easy at the moment. But I really wanted to share some pics of the honest-to-goodness most incredible kid on the entire planet.
And we're pretty sure we're not biased in our assertion.
Just-born pouty lips.Newly born with happy happy Gramma Betty. And look how proud we are. And today, asleep in Dad's arms. The C-section business sucks pretty tremendously, but even so, I'm having the time of my life.
Happy weekend, all!
Lisa, I was getting worried. Phew.
ReplyDeleteHow dare you enjoy your kid?
He is just lovely. Congrats again.

Wow, he looks about 6lbs in that photo with Nick, but I know he's not...I guess I knew how tall Nick was by the photos next to you, but it took that one to drive it home.

He's so gorgeous! Congrats again!
ReplyDeleteAnd I can only imagine how you're feeling. I felt like crap after my c-section for weeks (took almost 10 weeks to truly heel) and I knew I was having one (breech baby). I can only imagine how much worse it would be planning on a natural birth and then having to change directions. But I will say that the little guy truly does make it a bit more bearable.
SO HANDSOME! :-D
ReplyDeleteHe's so beautiful! I'm so happy for you. Thanks for sharing the photos with us: )
