You'll be chasing him very, very soon. I laughed at my son and daughter-in-law when the granddaughter was learning how to walk. They couldn't wait, and now that she's very mobile, their enthusiasm has diminished a little. ;)
It's time if you haven't, to put high-up chains or slidy-bolts or something, on the exteriour doors. When my son was barely 2, he dragged a nearby chair to a door and was able to climb up on it somehow, and with teeny-tiny hands, opened the front door that had an old fashioned, really big, round, smooth brass doorknob. Nobody could believe he managed to do this, but since I was the only one home, and on the toilet at the time, we just don't know how he did it. He was very healthy and strong, but averagely so...such a mystery! The neighbour picked him up off the sidewalk. We were SO lucky.
Go big J go!
