Naturally, darling, naturally

"Mom, Carolina doesn't put her jacket on like that."

"Huh. Who is Carolina?"

"She's a girl in my class."

"Which one is she?"

"She's my friend."

"What does she look like?"

"A silly princess!"

----------

"Jordan, do you like peas?"

"Well, sometimes I do and sometimes I don't."

"Do you like peas today?"

"No."

----------

"Mommy, at the school party I gave my teachers and my children brownies and clementines."

"Brownies and valentines?"

"Yes."

"To all your children, huh?"

"Yes!"

  1. I LOVE the way little kids talk. It's sad when they start losing all the cute little mistakes.

Jess is 7 and she still has a few. She says "Give me you" when she wants a hug. And an ambulance is still an ambliance.

I almost hate to correct her because I'll miss her little quirky sayings when they're gone!

  3. Agree, these are great little sweet giggles! I love that he's so aware of his classmates and surroundings. He's so advanced, for example, I don't like peas on any given day. Happy to weekend to you!

  4. These are wonderful! I'm so glad you're capturing them.

And the fact that he knows the word 'clementines' makes me ridiculously proud of him.
